I've made you Saul placing your armor on me because I've seen fruit in your life and, in order to see those trees in my garden; I had to garden the way you garden. I've made you my brothers in the battle giving a list of opinions and, insights interpreted as suggestions or directives. Self Mutilation for Sacrifice

What if Issac would have refused to lay down? The rope was in tote. The wood had been cut. The spot on the mountain had been chosen. One may have the obedience of Abraham but, what happens when the sacrifice does not want to comply? Is one penalized for disobedience if their complete execution of the task is dependent upon another? If we present a living sacrifice then some struggle is to be expected. Were it an animal it is acceptable to break a limb as you tie down your offering. But this sacrifice is a human. Blood is blood but, there are so many different standards for lives. I do not set these standards but, history continues to reveal in it's wake the fruit of these standards. Kill a lion and they mourn in droves. Kill masses of humans and, does it make a sound? Gift That Keeps On Giving

I have come to learn that through celebrations with and without that the gift that has helped the most was unwrapped. We may have been given video games and they came and went. We may have been given clothes and they shrunk......I swear it. We may have been given jewelry and it broke, was lost, or ooops was fake. It is possible too have seen piles and piles of ribbon, garland, and lights but, the greatest gift of all happened year round. I saw my mother call on JESUS and I saw HIM answer. I saw her pray, fast, and cry for her loved ones. I was told by my Mother, "Child bad times come but if you have JESUS everything will work out." This is the time set aside to remember that JESUS is the gift to save the world. For those of us who get treated like we were too old to anticipate santa clause or have children of our own to tend to. I can attest that by being given JESUS, I have been given my best Christmas gift yet. Not under a tree or in a stocking but, in a walk. I...
